Ex-Capital FM host Pinky Ghelani says the desire to be a mother saw her try to get pregnant over and over again despite suffering 4 miscarriages.
The mother of two says if she didn’t suffer those losses she would be a mother of six.
This she shared during an interview with Churchill on his TV show.
“I would be a mum of six but I had four miscarriages. So I have six babies, two are here with me physically but four are in heaven.
It was very heartbreaking, It’s something we do not talk about enough. The loss of a child no matter what the stage of pregnancy is loss, and a mother needs to grief.
But most times people assume you should just move on. The fact that I wanted to be a mum made me try again. As much as am Hindu I believe in the power of prayer.”
Asked on she plans on getting any more babies, Ghelani responded, “I will be turning 46 in February so I do not know if getting more babies is a good idea.”
Ghelani currently works as a Women’s Empowerment advocate.
