Hassan Joho, the former governor of Mombasa, has confirmed his return to the country following a successful operation. According to Joho, he has been ill, which is why most Kenyans have not observed him actively participating in demonstrations.

The former governor is adamant that the cost of living has been exceedingly high, which is why the leaders of Azimio must unite. Joho has denied rumors that he desired to transfer political camps from the leader of the Azimio-OKA to that of William Ruto.
Joho is adamant that he completely supports the demonstrations, but his health issues prevented him from attending. Once he has fully recovered, Joho has vowed to be the mother of all demonstrations, especially in Mombasa.
Governor Joho is certain that President William Ruto pledged a reduction in the cost of living, but this has not yet occurred. According to him, the opposition should remain steadfast and ensure that the president fulfills his campaign promises to the people of Kenya.
