Kenyan singer KRG the Don has been in the news the past few months after his contentious separation from his wife, Lina.
The rapper claimed that the reason the two went their separate ways was because of her infidelity and that she was also a toxic person.
A few weeks ago the musician went even as far as to allege that he had filed for divorce from the mother of his two kids;
“I will be addressing issues soon and explain everything from 2012 to Date ndio tukue on the same page with people who are judging me negatively. You will have full story without sugarcoating anything or trying to censor anything. I will put things in black and white but for now niko sawa tu busy at the corridor of justices filling for an official divorce…”
But it seems that his decision to seek the divorce had only come after his other efforts to seek a resolution had hit a wall. In a recent interview on Homeboys radio, KRG said that he had been willing to forgive Lina.
This was in response to a question by the Homeboyz crew that KRG who had asked the ‘Antidote’ rapper whether his wife had really cheated?
“We had talked, I even went through the traditional ceremonies for conflict resolution. I wanted to forgive her for everything…Yes, she cheated. It was with a certain chokora that I don’t want to mention. I even wondered how she went from the soft life to go to a beggar?”
He finished the interview by stating that he had already moved on from Lina to a younger 23-year-old lady.
