Details of the five-hour meeting that Raila Odinga, the former prime minister, had at the home of former Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho in Nairobi have finally been made public.

Speaking via and see what Friday’s people’s daily publication, Mr Odinga noted that he was against the formation of PAA party which is affiliated with the senate’s speaker Amason Kingi.

According to Mr Odinga, the party was created to influence Amason Kingi and for his own benefits and therefore wasn’t formed to address key issues facing coastal people.

” I was against the formation of PAA and eben i had upto five hours of meeting a former Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho’s residence in Nairobi over it”, he said.

Mr Odinga was speaking during ODM party’s party of receiving defectors from PAA party and among them were ward representatives and former members of parliament who backed Mr Odinga’s presidential ambitions.

He further announced that ODM party will recruit new members in coastal region next week in an attempt of terming the rising popularity of Ruto’s UDA camp in most of Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s strongholds.
