“I Used To Sleep Hungry Before Joining Inooro Tv” Ex-Inooro Tv Presenter Narrates
While in an interview at Kameme FM, former Inooro Tv presenter Winrose Wangui has narrated how she used to sleep hungry due to lack of money.
Winrose Wangui was in an interview with Muthoni Wa Kirumba in her show called Canjamuka in a segment called Njorua Ya Kothi.
Winrose said that she was very broke before she got her first job at Inooro. She said that she had come to Nairobi to seek job but she stayed for a long time without having one.
Winrose said that even affording house rent was a big problem to her. Her house was rocked with two big padlocks but at that she was staying inside her locked house without anything to eat.
She said that her house was a bedsitter so even the toilet was inside the house. She was spending all day and night watching TV to avoid depression.
“I used to sleep hungry before joining Inooro Tv, even affording my house rent was a big challenge to me. I remember I stayed for 3 months without paying my house rent, one day the landlord locked me inside my house. I stayed there for a couple of days without food” she said.
