Marini Naturals CEO Michelle Ntalami has shared memories of her high school days that were full of fun.
The Loreto High School Limuru alumni recalled how she was cheeky and would get in trouble.
“I am very cheeky … but in a good way. I was always getting in trouble in high school. I love life and fun…and good energy. So I was always the last chick in a function, talking to a guy over the corner…just talking biology spot on,” Michelle said in an interview with Dr Ofweneke.
Just like a normal high school girl, Michelle exchanged a lot of letters with men.
“I wrote letters…received them…especially after functions I would receive about 5. I used to confuse a couple of guys. And they used to confuse me too.”
The beauty-preneur also spoke about going through a difficult break-up last year.
“It is still not easy…after I lost my dad in 2014, last year was my second ugliest year. I was in a very depressive dark state, it is still not easy but today I am in a much better place.
I am slowly healing, embracing everything that comes with healing…it is messy…sometimes you slip back into your darkness,” Mitchelle said.
