Kambua Manundu has revealed more details about her six-year journey to pregnancy, with her new revelations shedding light on her painful journey before she finally conceived.
In a recent interview with Parents magazine, the singer explained that there was a lot of vagueness in the process especially if one didn’t deal with an expert.

Mama Nate as she calls herself now narrated hows she had taken all manner of tests to check whether her tubes were blocked and if her eggs were viable and nothing showed.
“There is a lot of vagueness in the whole process if you don’t get information from an actual expert. I did all tests that were recommended checking whether all my tubes were blocked or if the eggs were viable and nothing came up. We were simply told to keep trying,” said Kambua.

This made her start looking for alternative options in order to conceive and had even been introduced to a specialist. But in late 2018, she started showing symptoms she could not explain.

Kambua had by this time stopped tracking down her ovulation days for the emotional drain that it caused her. She decided to test if she was pregnant, with the test coming back positive.

“One day after the Rauka show, still feeling a little under the weather, I started thinking of the possibility of being pregnant because I had stopped keeping track of my ovulation days a few months earlier as it had gotten to a point where I had become so obsessed and it was emotionally draining. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to take a test,” added Kambua.
