He also talked about how he handled the death of his father and how important it is for artists to have other sources of income. Rapper Volvexzshawa, a rising star from Kenya, has talked candidly about the difficulties in getting record labels to sign artists.
The rapper, who was born in Kenya and raised in South Carolina, US, was forced to take a break from music when things with his record label didn’t work out. Volvexzshawa felt emotionally, physically, and financially depleted by the label’s alleged betrayal of him.
“They removed every song I had ever released. It demoralized me and nearly sent me into depression after all the work I had put into my art. It broke my heart to learn that my dad had died from COVID-19 at the same time.
Volvexzshawa had to take charge because he was the only boy in the group. “I found it difficult to pay the mortgage, my mother’s bills, and my own.” When Volvexzshawa was in need, friends abandoned him, but he got back up and promised his fans an incredible 2024.
