Ladies your man must give you money, he must!!! Maina Kageni shouted on Wednesday September 29 in a discussion about a court judgement that declared being a housewife a full time payable job.
Main shouted at men that their wives deserve a monthly allowance for their personal things, making it clear that it is not for vegetables.
He asked women to call in and tell when the last time they were given cash.
‘When is the last time your man gave you money ladies? At the end of every month, your man must give you something. He cannot keep enjoying you every day and at the end there is nothing. When is the last time your man gave you money for your personal upkeep?’
A woman cheekily told him that she steals to survive because her man is stingy.
‘Maina ooliskia wapi wanawake wanapewa pesa? Mimi naiba pesa. I have to steal, nilimwomba pesa akasema hana. So apparently the other day, he came night drunk and I asked him for money. He said he doesn’t have. I scrolled through his phone and found he had spent 15k. I forwarded 10k to my phone and deleted the message. Asubuhi, he left wondering how come he had less money. He called Safaricom and was told he sent cash to Sue at 3am. He isn’t talking to me now.’
