A senior government officer working with the intelligence agency is unhappy with a popular Kisii mganga for failing to cast a spell on his wife and her lover. The man, identified as Absolm, wanted Ann Mutheu, a mganga based in Nyanchwa estate in Kisii County, to make his wife and her boyfriend get stuck during intercourse.
Absolm claims that his wife, a secretary with a parastatal, is cheating on him with her boss. He claims that she travels with her boss two to three times a month to different counties for ‘work,’ and that she has denied him conjugal rights for the past 10 years.

“They talk till late in the night about office work, but I suffer in the bedroom as we sleep like two brothers and these feelings are killing me every day,” said the man.
Absolm opted to meet Mutheu in her ‘office’ in Kisii and she “promised to get them stuck hoping to teach my wife a lesson and make her faithful again,” said Absolm who reportedly parted with a Sh200,000 deposit and with a balance of Sh200,000 payable a week after the job was done.
Months later, Absolm claims he’s not seen any results and “when I call Mutheu, she says she’s travelled to other counties for magic.”
He claims that the witchdoctor’s phone is nowadays always switched off and when he travelled to Kisii to meet her, “neighbours didn’t know her whereabouts.”

Contacted by The Nairobian over the allegations, Mutheu said she fears for her life because Absolm’s wife moves around with a prominent person who might harm her for bewitching him.
“Like any other job, we have challenges too. I can’t risk my life for one client,” she said, adding that Absolm has spent millions on several witchdoctors who also fear bewitching the man who sleeps with his wife due to his senior status.
“Instead of bewitching his wife, I advised him to get out of that marriage with the kids and get someone who will love and care for him,” said Mutheu who receives between 60 and 80 clients a day and charges Sh1,000 consultation fee.
In an earlier interview she said that she makes approximately Sh300,000 to Sh400,000 per day which accounts for her Sh40 million home and investments in real estate and transport.
