I recently spoke to muscular rapper Khaligraph Jones. The father of 2 spoke about various aspects of his life. One of them was how his relationship with God and family had changed since 2020.
“That has never changed,” he responded. “That’s always been the same, it has been constant from the beginning. Me and my family have always been intact, my relationship with God has also been intact. I didn’t need Covid to strengthen those bonds.”
Adding, “That has never changed I treat people the same, cause I am a good person.”
And was this mindset extended to his the relationship that he has with friends?
“I don’t have any friends,” he retorted. “Friends are what? I know people. I have people I talk to, people in the industry that we have conversations with that I talk to but they are not my friends, I mean they are people that I talk to.”

He further went on to explain that he had good relationships with them, but does it necessarily mean that we are friends.
Had he always thought that way about friends, I asked? “No that is how I have been from the beginning.” Could he call them acquaintances, I opined? “Something like that,” was his short and succinct response.
I also asked the singer how he would like his wife and kids to remember his legacy when all is said and done? The “Mazishi” rapper didn’t want to answer the question telling me that it was personal and not for the media.
“That answer is for my wife, it isn’t for the media. I’m not going to tell you sh*t about my family, all you all will see about them is on social media,” he finished.
