Kiss FM radio presenter Kamene Goro has said that she had her first boyfriend in the campus while studying at the University of Nairobi, Parklands.
This statement contradicts her bad girl character which she has created over the years.
According to Kamene, contrary to what people assume she has always been a good girl.
‘I USED TO GO TO SCHOOL, CHURCH, AND THEN BACK HOME. I HAD MY FIRST BOYFRIEND WHILE ON CAMPUS.’
In case you did not know prominent radio personality Kamene Goro cannot speak fluent Swahili even if her life depended on it.
Having been brought up in a well-to-do family Kamene attended Rusinga school where learning Swahili was optional.
Speaking during an interview on Churchill, she said,
‘I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK FLUENT SWAHILI AS I NEVER LEARNED IT IN SCHOOL. WHILE STUDYING AT RUSINGA THE OPTIONS WERE TO STUDY FRENCH, GERMAN, AND SWAHILI AND MY PARENTS CHOSE THE TWO FOREIGN LANGUAGES.’
On her relationship with her parents, she said,
‘I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN LIKE MY DAD, OUTGOING AND VERY TALKATIVE. MY BROTHER WHO IS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER IS VERY QUIET WHEN PEOPLE SEE HIM THEY CAN’T BELIEVE WE ARE RELATED. MY LASTBORN SISTER IS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO US, SHE IS CURRENTLY 20, AND IS WORKING HARD SO THAT I CAN GIVE HER WHATEVER SHE WANTS.’
