A young lady by the name Perpetual from Nyeri has narrated how she begged the father of her son to donate blood to their 8 months son during his surgery but he refused and said he was busy.
According to her is that she dated this man for three months after he met him through his friend when she was in national youth service, she says that she got pregnant after she visited him when they were given permission to visit home after training.
She says that after two months she realized she was pregnant and she ran away from NYS and she went to his house, she says that he was a church person and on a Sunday they went to church to be introduced to his pastor but they were the pastor was not happy about it since they had not done a church wedding which is the protocol of the church.
She says that things didn’t go well since the man started to disrespect her and when she was 4 months pregnant she decided to go back home and her parents were shocked to see her pregnant since she had not told them, her parents were very supportive.
Perpetual says that after she gave birth her baby had a whole on the left side near his heart but he was treated and they went back home, she says that she realized that he was not feeding well and she went back to the hospital and was asked to do a scan.
She says that she didn’t have money and she decided to come to Nairobi at her friends place and left the baby with her mother and she started washing clothes for people and was able to raise money for her kid scan.
The scan shown that the baby had hernia and and he had to undergo surgery when he was only eight months, she says that after the surgery the doctor requested for blood and since she was 46kgs she couldn’t donate blood and that when she called the father of their son and after requesting him he said he was busy and he switched off the phone.
She says that well wishers donated blood for her son and after few days they were discharged and now he is 3 years old and healthy.she says that she in now a CEO of her company called Mama fua where she has employed 13 girls who does the cleaning around Thika.
