In a tragic turn of events, Charles Ouda, a renowned actor, passed away, leaving his fianceé, Ciru Muriuki, heartbroken. The couple had been engaged for five months before Ouda’s untimely demise.
Two days prior to his passing, Ouda shared a video on his Instagram account, capturing moments from a casual stroll he took with Ciru.
The 38-year-old actor merged the video with scenes of a man working out in the gym, captioning it with, “Is there something going on that we should all know about?”
This lighthearted remark took a poignant turn as Ciru, reacting to the video, humorously commented on the long walk they had taken:
“You be quiet because you also know something we don’t because how did we do almost 5km before 9? Why @charlesjouda?”
Little did they know, these casual exchanges would be some of their last interactions. Ouda responded to Ciru’s comment, stating, “@cirumuriuki That was a casual stroll, bruh!”
Tragically, Ouda attended Salem’s farewell party on February 3, where he posed with fellow cast members, including Jackie Matubia.
Matubia, in a heartbreaking post, expressed disbelief at Ouda’s sudden demise, sharing videos from the farewell party.
She revealed her struggle to come to terms with the loss, stating, “It is so painful I just want to sleep and wake up, and I find you have sent me 20 reals and call me J.”
Speaking about her last moments with Ouda, Matubia recalled, “He was okay yesterday, and he left just after our Salem farewell party. It’s shocking, can’t believe it is true.”
