Fish fillet comes from the French word filet which means a thread or strip.

It is the flesh of a fish that has been cut or sliced away from the backbone of a fish.

Today let us try to prepare fish fillets with lemon butter sauce.

To make your fish fillets with lemon butter sauce you are required to have the following ingredients.

Ingredients

Four white fish fillets
Melted butter
Lemon juice from two squeezed lemon
Salt
Paprika
Garlic powder
Onion Powder
Black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Use a paper towel to pat dry excess moisture from the fish.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine two tablespoons of melted butter, lemon juice, and half a teaspoon of salt. Then stir to mix well.

Step 3

In a separate bowl mix half a teaspoon, one teaspoon of paprika, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, and half a teaspoon of black pepper.

Press the spice mixture evenly onto both sides of the fish fillets.

Step 4

Heat the oil in a clean pan and fry the fish fillets for about two to five minutes one at a time until golden brown.

While frying, drizzle the lemon butter sauce on your frying fish fillets.

Step 5

When ready, serve your butter lemon fish fillets with the remaining lemon butter sauce and enjoy your meal.
