Darwesh Ahmed was born in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1977. It was where he was raised and his home. He attended Tudor Day School after leaving Kikowani Primary School. He attended Mombasa Polytechnic to obtain a degree in public communication. Ahmed grew up in a home with twelve other kids.
He began as a broadcaster on Pwani Fm and worked his way up to the KTN Swahili news desk. Ahmed was naturally good at striking up small talk and double-checking the news sources.Ahmed was a well-known television personality in addition to being a passionate poet and writer. The Nairobian newspaper featured his articles.
In addition to his work as an anchor, he worked in business. According to Nairobi News, he would take a handful of his coworkers to his South B restaurant for lunch and then bring enough food back for the rest of them.
The nation was shocked to learn about Ahmed Darwesh’s death on December 15, 2015, early in the morning. With only 38 years of age, he was very young. He finally won his long battle with diabetes, and he died peacefully in his South B house.
