Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has spoken about a calm and happy moment she had after the ODM Central Committee meeting.She said that after the meeting, she chose to use the Dongo Kundu bypass as she was going to the airport. According to her, the drive was very relaxing and made her feel good.

Millie Odhiambo said the drive was very therapeutic. She explained that the road helped her to relax her mind after long meetings. She said the Dongo Kundu bypass goes through the North Coast countryside which is very beautiful.

The area is still fresh, green, and not spoiled. She said the place has good air and good energy that makes someone feel peaceful.

The MP said this road will always be her favorite route any time she is in the North Coast. She said the road is quiet and smooth, unlike town roads that are noisy and stressful.

As she drove, she enjoyed seeing green land, trees, and open spaces on both sides of the road. She said the beauty of the land made her forget about stress from politics and work.

Millie Odhiambo also said she stopped many times during the drive. She stopped to talk to young people who were standing by the roadside. She said the talks were very interesting. The young people shared their thoughts about life, work, leadership, and the future. She said they had strong opinions and good ideas.

The MP said talking to the youth was eye opening. She said young people think differently and leaders need to listen to them. She said these small talks gave her new ideas and helped her understand what young people are going through.

Millie Odhiambo said the whole journey made her very happy. She said connecting with nature and talking to people on the ground is very important for leaders.
