Actor Lenana Kariba has shared how he landed a role in the Single Kiasi film.
In an interview on Buzz Central, Lenana said the film’s producer approached him, suggesting he should take the role of Nick.
“Philip, who is the producer came to me with the script and the idea. He told me ‘ I have this character which I think would be good for you’. As soon as he gave me the script and I saw what the story was about I was impressed. It wasn’t a challenging role,” he said.
The actor added that he enjoys being part of the Single Kiasi film since it is one that people can relate to.
“I think it has a really nice story and everyone can relate to what’s going on in the show. I liked that there is a realness to this show. Everyone on the show is someone you probably know.”
Lenana also shared how his passion for watching movies shaped his acting career.
“I didn’t think I was going to be an actor. I knew I wanted to be a part of this role but I was like I wanna know everything about production. And then one thing led to another, I went for an audition and got the part. I was very lucky, I can’t look back,” he said.
