Jamaican reggae singer Shauna McKenzie, popularly known by her stage name Etana, gave an outstanding performance during the Pamoja Festival held on Saturday night at the Waterfront Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi.
The festival, named from her 2021 album Pamoja released in June, marked one of the first major events held in the country since President Uhuru lifted the COVID-19 curfew.

The album featured various African artistes, including Kenya’s Wyre, Naiboi, Michael Bundi, Nandy from Tanzania, Wrxi from Zambia, and Ghana’s Stonebwoy.

The Saturday event, which kicked off at around 4 pm was graced by several Kenyan deejays, including Dj Tush, Dj Riley, Dj Patiz, Dj Mash Kenya, DJ Moh, DJ Vybrant, among others. Vybez Radio dynamic duo Kwambox and Kev were also among the entertainers of the night.

At midnight, Etana took to the stage and performed songs from her latest album, giving a 2-hour electric performance.
