Dramatic scene was witnessed from a Commonly known Ndhiwa divisional headquarters and police station after a police officer aged thirty two years badly attacked the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) over allegedly releasing a criminal who defiled a girl in maize plantation in broad daylight.
According to a resident who sought anonymity for security reasons, the criminal who was taken to the station by mob was released under unknown circumstances and is now free victimizing members of public and witnesses.
Defending her actions, the officer revealed that the investigation was in her custody and was not consulted by her boss when he was making the decision.
Confirming the incident, the area deputy county commissioners disclosed that the OCS was rushed to nearby hospital where he was admitted.
