Homa Bay Town Member of Parliament George Kaluma has recently criticized musician Bahati for his cross-dressing behavior. Bahati, known for his bold fashion choices, has been wearing female clothes in much of his recent content, sparking public discourse. Kaluma, a prominent critic of LGBTQ and homosexuality, has taken a strong stance against Bahati’s attire, framing it as another version of LGBTQ.
Kaluma has been vocal in his condemnation of LGBTQ+ rights, arguing that such practices have no place in Kenyan society. He views cross-dressing as a gateway to normalizing LGBTQ and Homesexuality. He further argues that cross-dressing behavior has been imposed to us by USA and Europe, and we as Kenyans we should not allow it, since it is another version of LGBTQ.
He went on to tell Bahati to stop cross-dressing, since what he is doing is akin to homosexuality if not homosexuality itself.
“We MUST stop homosexuality/LGBTQ perversion with its cross-dressing vices from being imposed on us by lost USA and Europe! We will NEVER, NEVER trade our culture to former slave-masters/colonists”
