A section of Muslim Believers have disapproved of Defence CS Aden Duale’s Christmas message to Christians.
This was after the CS took to his X space, formerly known as Twitter to pen his best wishes to Kenyans as they celebrate Christmas, to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” wrote CS Duale on his Twitter page
However, several X users, who are mostly Muslims criticized the CS, reminding him of his faith norms and rules. Many deliberately asked the CS to ignore mentioning Christmas and instead use the word happy holidays.
Many reminded him to fear Allah and stick to Islam teachings which does not profess its faith to the biblical Jesus Christ, whom they refer to as Prophet Mohamed.

However, several Kenyans who profess Christian faith defended the CS, saying he was a national figure and acting on his capacity. Many termed Duale as the first Muslim faith to wish them a Merry Christmas without beating around the bush.
