Amidst the mourning of Kenya Defence Forces soldiers who perished in a helicopter crash accident, shocking allegations have surfaced regarding the conduct of villagers who went to rescue victims. According to reports, it is alleged that immediately following the accident, instead of providing aid and support, certain individuals engaged in looting and ransacking of the victims.
The reports claim that villagers rushed to the crash site with the intention of rescuing survivors. However, latest information suggest that amidst the rescuing, some individuals took advantage of the situation to steal valuable items from the victims.
Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has alleged that the villagers ransacked the bodies of the victims, seizing possessions including phones, money, watches and other valuables.

The authorities, led by detectives are currently investigating the allegations and are pursuing suspects involved in the looting. Efforts are being made to track down stolen items. May the departed souls rest in peace and may God comfort the mourning families. Thank you for reading.
As Nyakundi shared this information, the comments section was awash with mixed reactions from Kenyans, as seen in the screenshots. While some expressed dismay and condemnation towards those involved in the looting, some expressed the need for a thorough investigation.
