In a dramatic twist that has captivated political circles, MCSK boss Ezekiel Mutua has made a passionate please to the Kamba Council of Elders, urging them to convene an emergency meeting with one critical agenda, to bar any other Kamba from appearing as a witness in the Rigathi Gachagua impeachment.

Mutua’s urgent plea came in response to a fiery Senate exchange between Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s lawyer, Elisha Ongoya.

Mutua took to his Facebook page, voicing frustration over Mutuse’s grilling, during which the MP seemed to fumble over questions about his own impeachment motion against Gachagua.

“Kamba Council of Elders, please call an emergency meeting and ensure no other Kamba appears as a witness. Hii imetosha!” Mutua wrote.

Mutuse, now in the eye of a political storm, filed a detailed impeachment motion against Gachagua, accusing him of abuse of office, misconduct, and possible involvement in dubious financial dealings.

His case is supported by videos, affidavits, and documents, all pointing to alleged economic crimes that, according to him, threaten Kenya’s political integrity.

However, the tide shifted during cross-examination as Gachagua’s defense team, led by Ongoya, turned up the heat. Mutuse struggled to back up some claims, raising questions about the solidity of his evidence.

The battle lines are drawn, with supporters hailing Mutuse as a whistleblower, while critics wonder if this bold accusation is built on a shaky foundation.

As the case unfolds, the stakes couldn’t be higher for both the Kamba community and Kenya’s political future.
