Renowned Tanzanian actress and top model Nelly Ahmadi Kamwelu has gotten engaged to the love of her life.
The beauty queen who is also a former Miss Universe Tanzania and Miss Southern Africa International infact announced the big news to her fans just few hours ago, and this was via her social media.
Taking to her Instagram account she infact posted a short video clip, where a beautiful ring could be seen on the fourth finger of her left hand.
In the post, the hand of Nelly Kamwelu’s fiancé was also seen holding hers.
The ravishing Huba series actress further accompanied the video with a long caption, saying how she was proud to be in a relationship with him.
“The moment I met you I knew u was in love ✈️❤️. Like an angel had sent you from up above. The connection we share grows stronger everyday. A strong bond that no one can ever take away. I love everything about you baby ✈️.
I love you so much and miss you like crazy 🥺. You are the one who holds my heart’s key 🔑, and you know that we are meant to be 🤞🏽. You make me feel happy, content, special and free…” Nelly Kamwelu wrote in part.
The sassy actress was also over the moon because of the engagement, and said that she was waiting eagerly for the day when the two will become husband and wife, and have kids.

Nelly Kamwelu also shared another blurry post where she had posed with her man, and accompanied it with a sweet long caption as shown below.
From the post it is clear that the fiancé of the Huba series actress wore a face mask, and therefore it was difficult to tell his identity.
This however is not a surprise because even when she introduced him for the first time to the world in 2022, Nelly Kamwelu still posted a photo of them together where he had a mask too.

Nelly Kamwelu and Diamond Platnumz
Nelly Kamwelu was once rumoured to be dating celebrated Bongo Flava singer Diamond Platnumz.
The two were infact speculated to be dating after a video went rife of them kissing.
At the time, the Zuwena hit maker was still married to socialite-cum-businesswoman Zari Hassan, and therefore Nelly Kamwelu was rumoured to be his side chick.
In 2020 Nelly Kamwelu even disclosed for the first time that Zari reached out to her, and told her to stay away from her man Diamond Platnumz.
This was in a interview that she had at the time, where she even went ahead and denied that she was his side chick.
According to Nelly Kamwelu she was just a good friend to the Wasafi boss. She also claimed that she knew the woman who was Diamond Platnumz’s side chick.
It should be remembered however that Diamond and Zari later parted ways, and the main reason for their break up was because he was unfaithful.
The former lovebirds are currently co-parenting to raise their kids.
