When Deputy President Hon. Kithure Kindiki and his wife, Dr. Joyce Kithure, arrived at a recent public function, Kenyans responded on social media. The majority of the comments were on Dr. Joyce’s hair and attire.
June Lizz, a commenter, showed her dislike for the hairstyle and clothing by saying, “Sijapenda hiyo nguo kabsaa na style ya nywele.” Selly Oak, another user, provided a humorous tone to the chat with the hilarious comment, “Kuingia ni furaha, but kutoka lazima ulie.”
More hilarious comments were made. Nduta Alice commented, “Ukimcheki harakaharakaā¦ sio mbaya sana,” implying that the appearance was acceptable based on a quick glance. In the meantime, Pride Land mocked the appearance by asking, “Kwani alikuja na mama yake,” which made other users laugh.
The incident has left more people on the internet talking about what is happening across the country. As some claim that the economy has been so tough for many that they are not able to sustain their needs on a daily basis, the government is urged to consider the people who are not able to meet their needs.
