Latest reports indicates that High Court has made a ruling on a petition that was filed seeking to stop deputy president Kithuri Kindiki from taking over the office
As reported, the High Court has deferred the petition to chief justice Martha Koome for empanelment.
Issuing the ruling, Justice Bahati Mwamuye has found that the case raises key legal questions and therefore it will be decided by a bench of judges who will be appointed by CJ Koome.

It should be noted Kindiki succeeded Rigathi Gachagua who was Impeached over gross misconduct, graft cases and incitement.
