Manyora explained that in Kenyan politics, it is difficult for someone to win the presidency without backing from influential figures. He believes Matiang’i could be a major factor in the 2027 elections, either as a candidate or as someone who influences the outcome.
His comments suggest that Matiang’i’s past experience as Interior CS and his close ties with leaders like Uhuru could give him an advantage. As the elections draw closer, Manyora believes Kenyans should watch Matiang’i closely because he could shape the political future of the country in one way or another.
