Weatherman has provided crucial detailed reports regarding changes in weather patterns for the next seven days.
The reports indicate that rainfall is expected to continue over several parts of the country especially the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley and the Coast. The rest of the country is likely to be generally dry.
Average daytime (maximum) temperatures will be high (more than 30oC) over most parts of the Coast, North-eastern and Northwestern Kenya.Average night-time (minimum) temperatures will be low (less than 10oC) over some parts of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley.
In Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands West of the Rift Valley and the Central and South Rift Valley Regions, (Kisii, Nyamira, Nandi, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Busia, Migori, Narok, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans-Nzoia, Uasin-Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet and West-Pokot Counties), Morning are expected to be sunny though occasional rains are likely to occur over few places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are likely to occur over few places spreading to several places. Nights are expected to be partly cloudy with occasional rains over few places.
The information also indicates that the Coastal Regions (Mombasa, Tana River, Kilifi, Lamu and Kwale) are likely to experience morning and early afternoon showers over few places as Nights remain partly cloudy.
Northwestern Kenya and South Eastern lowlands are likely to rain sunny with partly cloudy nights.
Northeastern parts of Kenya especially Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo Counties are expected to be sunny and partly cloudy at night. However occasional morning rains and night showers may occur over few places during the first half of the forecast period.
The Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi County are expected to receive morning light rains giving way to sunny intervals. Occasional afternoon and evening showers are expected over few places.
