Kenyan actor Daddie Marto’s second-born son has been ailing after contracting a chest infection.
Sharing the news on his Instagram, the actor said they walked into a hospital thinking it would be a normal check-up, only for the paediatrician to admit the baby.
“We were almost losing our boy but the prayers, goodwill and positive vibes have gone towards our king. We are glad to proclaim that all is well.
Not out of the woods yet but out of danger so ni kupambana,” he shared.
Daddy Marto and his wife were taking the baby for his 6 weeks clinic visit, only to be told that he has to be admitted for 24 hours.
The father of two said they thought the baby was having normal reflux.

A paediatrician and chest specialist they consulted before also missed the diagnosis.
The baby was later diagnosed with Brochiolitis, a chest infection that affects children under 2 years.
He says the baby got the infection from his elder brother, who had been having coughs, sneezes and running nose ever since closing school.
Marto and his wife Christine Kokueendera welcomed their second-born son in August.
