Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has alleged a shocking incident that took place at Bukhungu stadium on Wednesday during President Ruto’s visit.

Remember President Ruto on Wednesday inspected ongoing construction at Bukhungu Stadium, where he slammed the contractor for slow progress. Ruto in a video that circulated on social media took the contractor head on saying it was unacceptable that the project was still in its early stages.

Moments later, Senator Khalwale who was among those who accompanied the President during the inspection, alleged that an official was slapped during the event.

Taking to his official social media account, the vocal senator claimed that the MP for Lugari, Nabii Nabwera slapped the Personal Assistant (PA) to Governor Fernandes Barasa over a reason that he promised to reveal soon. The incident allegedly left officials and notable leaders accompanying President Ruto in shock.

“The MP for Lugari, Nabii Nabwera, today shocked us when he slapped a PA to Kakamega County Governor! This was at Bukhungu Stadium when the president took on the contractor, who is the subject for the stalled Bukhungu Stadium! Reason? Will tell..” Reads Khalwale’s message.
