Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua allied Lawyer Wahome Thuku, has claimed out what the embattled second in command answered his boss President William Ruto, after he asked him to resign before getting impeached by parliament.

In his latest statement on Facebook, Thuku has claimed that President William Ruto called his Deputy President Rigathi earlier this week and their conversation took about one minute only. Where the head of state asked his deputy to resign to avoid being removed from office through an impeachment.

But Gachagua told him directly that he will not resign because he feels that he has not done anything wrong which can cause him to resign. He answered his boss straight without any fear or contradiction that he will not resign. According to DP there is nothing wrong with him which can force him to resign and he believes that his impeachment will be quashed by senate or the court.
