Earlier, Joseph Irungu alias Jowie was found guilty of killing Monica Kimani and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Jacque Maribe on the other hand was acquitted. The judge’s decision left Kenyans with reactions ans many concluded that Monica Kimani’s family had finally found justice.
Speaking in an interview earlier, Monica’s father bishop Paul Ngarama revealed that he would visit Jowie in prison on his return to Kenya. According to Paul, he is planning to reconcile his family with that of Jowie and Jacque Maribe.
“When I go back to Kenya, I will visit Jowie in prison and have a conversation because he is like my son. I want this to be part of the reconcilation process among the three families. I want to spearhead reconciliation and bring the three families together. We must preach forgiveness and let the matter rest.” He stated.
Many kenyans on social media came across his words and they were left with alot to say. Below is a few of their comments;
Many noted that it was a good move while others insisted that the act would not help Jowie. What are your thoughts on this matter? let me know on the comment section.
