Following his admission that cartels have overpowered the national government in coffee sector, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has now been accused of crying instead of fighting for kenyans in Mt Kenya region.

Speaking via a report covered on Wednesday’s Standard publication, Githunguri member of parliament Hon Gathoni Wamuchomba has revealed that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has now owned the D minus grade he was given by pollsters.

According to her statement, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has been defeated by coffee cartels which has led by some millers hoarding over 500,000 bags of coffee since the revoking of their licenses.

Wamuchomba who is affiliated to Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government ad well likened DP Gachagua’s cry to a father whose children expect him to bring bread only for him to resort to crying.

” By accepting that he has been defeated, he has owned the D minus that he was awarded by pollsters”, Gathoni Wamuchomba said.

Her statement comes off in line with the current situation in Mt Kenya region where farmers have undergone losses from coffee sales despite Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government promises to improve the sector by flushing out cartels.

It should be noted that president William Ruto tasked deputy president Rigathi Gachagua the coffee sector to change it by fighting cartels who are conning kenyans.

Lastly in your opinion, do you agree with Githunguri member of parliament Hon Gathoni Wamuchomba that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has failed to fight coffee cartels in Mt Kenya region?
