Azimio ally Sadamhussein has reacted to the joining of Kenya Kwanza team by Musicians led by Bahati.

According to Sadamhussein, their coming in does not add any value to the United Democratic Alliance party.

Bahati decamped from Jubilee party that belonged to the similar formation as Azimio.

Bahati was trolled over being emotional in the last General elections after being denied a ticket in the last polls. In that line, it is alleged that he has minimal influence on the people and politics.

A list of musicians and entertainers who are members of the ruling party was welcomed by United Democratic Affairs Secretary General Cleophas Malala.

On Wednesday, April 12, a number of media figures joined UDA, including Bahati, MC Jessy, KRG The Don, Diana Marua, DJ Kwenye Beat, Sammy Boy, Mash Mwana, and Dufla Diligon.

Malala reassured the party’s new recruits that the party would work to ensure that the government supported the entertainment sector to provide young people a sense of dignity.

He continued by saying that the party would mentor and cultivate famous people who had aspirations of becoming leaders.

MC Jessy, who left UDA in 2022 after a fallout in the primaries, expressed his joy upon returning home while criticizing the party for giving the ticket to Mwiti Kathaara, who ultimately lost to Dr. Shadrack Mwiti Ithinji of Jubilee.

Jessy, however, declared that he had put the past behind him and would join the celebration with his backers.

Malala mocked Bahati by telling him not to cry in front of the TV cameras as he invited the newly recruited members to speak.

The singer of the hit song “Adhiambo” declared that he will still run for the Mathare parliamentary seat in 2027, promising to elect the region’s first UDA leader.

Rufftone, a seasoned musician, was assigned by Malala to guide the troupe of performers.
