The deputy president received a warm reception from the locals who turned up in large numbers to Accord him a king life reception as he made his first ever public appearance at an event since his impeachment motion began a few days ago.
The deputy president was in the company of several leaders, including members of Parliament who are his allies and the governor for Nyeri County.
