Gukena FM sports presenter and newsreader Gaikamba Wa Mwangi on Sunday surprised his girlfriend with a birthday party at Anzana Gardens.
Gaikamba, the sports mania as he calls himself, proposed to his girlfriend Wambui at the event that was attended by close family and friends of both.
In his speech, Gaikamba said he had always wanted to do something to celebrate his girlfriend and yesterday was the best.
“She came to my life when I was grieving my mum and despite the pain, I was in, she firmly stood in the gap. We have been living like a girlfriend and a boyfriend but from today, I want her to see me different.”
Gaikamba and Wambui have a daughter together and are expecting a secondborn.
