Kelvin lived with his parents in Bondeni, Nakuru county. There he met with men younger than him who always had money. He was in form 2 and his parents struggled to pay his school fees.
Kelvin was always yearning to have women around him and sleep with them, living a lavish life and this is what drove him to join a gang identified as Confirm Gang.
The gang had leaders who taught the members everything about stealing money in every means. At the age of 16, Kelvin became a daring thug.
Kelvin regrets because he used to make a lot of money through stilling but could not do anything constructive with it. All he did was taking care of random women with whom he slept with, buying expensive drugs and living lavishly.
Kelvin recounts how he could make Ksh 30,000 in 3 minutes through Mpesa frauds. This gang has specialized in Mpesa frauds and thus it’s name Confirm Gang.
Kelvin was also involving in robbery with violence where they could even kill if someone provoked them in their bid to make fast money. Kelvin decided to reform after numerous arrests.
He says although his colleagues could bail him out, sometimes he almost saw himself spending his life in jail. He also witnessed some of his colleagues being killed during a robbery mission.
He admits that crime does not pay because right now he has nothing tangible that he can claim to have bought with crime. Kelvin says that the least he ever made in a day was Ksh 50,000. However, he spent it without care as he always knew that he would make in the following day.
That is how he ended up having nothing. Kelvin is happy however since he is not dead or in jail. He will work hard to earn legit Cash. He regrets dropping out of school.
