A profound sense of relief and joy enveloped the village of Langas in Eldoret City following the discovery of a missing child, who had been unaccounted for over the past three months.

The child, whose identity has not been fully disclosed, was found alive in Kisii, bringing an end to a harrowing search that involved both the family and local police.

 

According to the child’s mother, the boy had been living under a different name and was found wearing a school uniform.

The family, alongside local authorities, conducted an extensive search effort throughout the region. Their determination and collaboration with law enforcement played a crucial role in locating the child.

In a heartfelt statement to local media, the mother expressed her overwhelming joy upon being reunited with her son. “My child was missing for three consecutive months, and now I have found him. I cannot describe how happy I am. I can finally sleep again,” she said, her voice filled with emotion. She also acknowledged the support received from the community during the trying time, stating, “Thank you to everyone who helped us search for my son. God bless you all.”

The emotional reunion took place when the mother approached her son, who recognized her from a distance. This moment marked a significant turning point after the long and difficult journey of searching for him.

The child has since been admitted to a local school, where he will continue his education. While his name has changed, the family is relieved to have him back home safe and sound.
