The Kenyan Government has released an afternoon powerful statement revolving around shapes of motor vehicle number plates targeting all Kenyan citizens who claim ownership of motor vehicles.
Addressing via the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) today the 24th day of January 2024, the Kenyan Government has ordered who all Kenyan citizens to confirm the shape of the number plates which have been affixed on their respective motor vehicles.
The Kenyan Government has intimated that confirmation of the shape of the number plates affixed on a motor vehicle is a pivotal requirement before submission of an application for the newly institutionalized reflective number plates.
Giving a glimpse of the fundamental reason as to why Kenyans are required to confirm the shape of their motor vehicle number plates, the Kenyan Government intimated that reflective number plates come in different shapes, either oblong or square shape, thus confirmation of the number plates embodied on a motor vehicle makes it easier for Kenyans to understand which shape of the reflective number plate they will apply for.
“Reflective number plates come in oblong and square shapes. Before submitting an application, kindly confirm the shape of the plates currently affixed on the motor vehicle,” NTSA divulged in a statement released today the 24th day of January 2024.
