Emotional night
It was both a rib-cracking and an emotional night as comedians took to the stage and cracked jokes as they shared how Churchill had given them a livelihood by nurturing their acting talent.
When they were called to the stage to speak in a well-choreographed move enhanced by the Sarakasi dancers, Churchill almost broke down as he recalled his humble upbringing and the challenges he faced before making it in the entertainment industry.
“It has been a long road and I thank God and all those who have supported me over the years,” he said.
