This morning, a very shocking report emerged stating that President William Ruto’s government has introduced another oppressive tax on Kenyans. According to the report, the newly appointed Attorney General, Dorcas Oduor, has directed all religious leaders to submit marriage certificates as soon as possible. The AGās office has mandated that all marriage certificates for already conducted marriages must be submitted within 30 days.
According to the report, this plan is meant to raise more revenue for the government. This is bad news to all Kenyans who are married, for they will have to pay this tax to get their marriage officiated and recognized by the government. Shockingly, marriage has become a business to the government.
