The death of Edgar Odongo, the best student in the country in the 2012 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) has left many in shock.
According to his family members, the deceased passed on while undergoing treatment at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
He was attacked by unknown assailants.
Edgar graduated last year (2020) from Yale University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Dan Okech, a brother-in-law said that they only learned about his death from a family friend who found him along the road after the attack.
