Bungoma Goliath, a towering figure known for his imposing presence, has shocked many after revealing that Pastor Victor Kanyari paid him KSh 8,000 to stage a fake miracle during a church service.

Speaking candidly with Environment Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria, Goliath shared the details of his involvement in the controversial incident.

The revelation comes days after a dramatic scene at Pastor Kanyari’s church in Nairobi, where Goliath was captured on video fainting during a fervent prayer session.

The clip, which went viral, depicted Pastor Kanyari declaring the fainting as a spiritual breakthrough. However, Goliath’s recent confession paints a different picture.

According to Goliath, Pastor Kanyari approached him with a proposition to participate in a staged miracle. “Aliniambia nataka uigize uombewe na uanguke, na nitakulipa KSh 8,000,” he disclosed during the conversation with Geoffrey Mosiria.

The money, Goliath said, was intended to make the act convincing and draw more congregants to the controversial pastor’s ministry.

Geoffrey Mosiria, who came to Goliath’s aid after finding him stranded in Nairobi, recounted the phone call that led to their meeting.

“Nimeona missed calls zake kadhaa, so nikasema nicall back. Akaniambia niko stranded tao. Unajua ukiona mwanaume akisema hivo labda ni ukweli, na nikaamua kuja kumuona. Nilikuta ni ukweli kabisa,” Mosiria said.

Goliath had reportedly been abandoned shortly after attending an interview with Oga Obinna, leaving him stuck on the streets of Nairobi without help.

Mosiria’s intervention has brought much-needed relief to the towering figure, who has faced difficulties in leveraging his unique stature for a sustainable livelihood.
