Leaders led by Speaker Moses Wetangula, CS Kipchumba Murkomen and MP Zaheer Jhanda said that Azimio were free to hold rallies until 2027 general election.

MP Zaheer has admitted that Mr Odinga had the freedom to organize protest but insisted that his freedom will only be respected if the demonstration will be peaceful and not chaotic.

” You can demonstrate up to 2027 but don’t break the law,” the MP said.

Narc leader Martha Karua and MP Junet Mohammed had told off Ruto against mounting road blocks to halt Azimio movement.

Speaking on Saturday while presiding over a funds drive event at Kiboswa SDA church in Chesumei constituency, Nandi county, the speaker urged Kenyans not to heed Raila’s call on mass action in Nairobi.

According to Speaker Wetang’ula, the protest will not help put food on their tables.

Transport CS Murkomen who pointed out that it was still too early for Azimio to move to the streets. He asked Azimio leaders to give Kenya Kwanza time at the same time blaming Raila and former president Uhuru Kenyatta for the bad state of the country’s economy.
