A family from Githurai,Nairobi County is cry for help after they are unable to bury their kin who was adimitted in Kenyatta University Hospital.

As posted by Citizen tv Facebook page,Ann Waithera Njogu was admitted in the facility in December 2022 after she was diagnosed with rare disease known as Flaccid Tetraplegia which attacks the nerves and sometimes leads to paralysis.

The family is asking the government to waive the bill for them as they are unable to clear the 7.9million hospital bill that was left behind by the deceased.

Anthony Mburu, the deceased husband said that their hope to bury his wife is in the hand of wel wishers.

The family also told Citizen TV that it has been hard to raise the amount needed since the economy is harsh,And the National Hospital Insurance Fund(NHIF) only catered for 720,000 out of the 7.9 million medical bill needed.

The 47 year old deceased has left four children and a husband behind and we hope the government will waive the hospital bill.
