Chief of staff and head of the public service has shared an important notice to the public concerning the membership of the newly formed National Multi-sectoral Forum.
According to the press release, all national level umbrella organizations representing the youth, civil society, religious organizations, professional bodies, business community organizations, academia, student leadership, majority and minority leaders of the parliament, the Council of governors and other stakeholder groups are requested to nominate representatives to constituency the national steering Committee of the National Multi-sectoral Forum. The press release also highlighted matters to be addressed. Therefore, each umbrella body is to nominate two representatives for consideration.
While responding to this, the Gen Zs have dominated the comments section claiming that having two representatives is a challenge as they do not need leadership simply because they are a movement. They added that the Gen Zs are incredibly diverse, with a wide range of experiences , perspectives and challenges that need a more inclusive approach. They suggested the use of social media , including the X space.
