Outspoken Gen Z activist Wanjiru Wanjira has now revealed that the Gen Zs or President William Ruto’s opponents are no longer referring to the President as Kasongo.
Speaking to Citizen TV on Wednesday night, Wanjira said that they deserted the name from the day President publicly embraced the name and acknowledged that he loved the Kasongo song.
She said that they decided never to be with Ruto on the same side, forcing them to drop the name Kasongo and adopt the name Kaongo, which loosely to a liar.
She now wants Ruto also embrace the name Kaongo, claiming that the President has always lied to Kenyans since being sworn into the office of the President.
“Ruto should embrace Kaongo. When we saw him embrace Kasongo, we said we cannot be on the same side, if he takes Kasongo we remove ‘s’ it remains “Kaongo” because all he does is lie anyway.” Wanjira said
