Gayle King was left open to the public trolls after CBS shared an unfavorable video of the interview with Kobe Bryant.
The long term friend of Kobe Bryant, Lisa Leslie spoke to a host on CBS but the focus had been entirely on Kobe’s sexual assault that had occurred in 2003.
Just 10 days after Kobe’s death alongside her daughter, Gayle faced quite the troll from the public.

Last week Thursday, Gayle decided to post the video of the interview but it was quickly taken down by the network that employs her.
Gayle responded on her Instagram page. She claimed that CBS had edited the clip to make it look like her interview had only focused on the rape assault case. She said that her safety was jeopardized by this.
On the camera, she said;
i am mortified, i am embarrassed and i am very angry
CBS, later on, backed Gayle King up. They said that Gayle had conducted a very thoughtful and wide-ranging interview with Leslie Lisa while maintaining a Kobe Bryant’s legacy.
The case was settled out of court in 2005.
