The Member of Parliament for Kajiado Rugongo, Onesmus Ngogoyo, was arrested today by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Kiambu Road.
The MP is accused of making inciteful remarks against the Kenya Kwanza leadership during a prayer meeting at the Baptist Church in Kanunga, Mukurweini, Nyeri.
MP Ngogoyo on Sunday wished Kenyans and clergy a merry christmas and a happy new year but said Ruto “should meet with the lord”.
During the church service, leaders hit at government vowing to unseat Ruto in the 2027 poll.
Gachagua yesterday launched a new onslaught attack on Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja over what he termed as failing to return favours.
Speaking on Inooro TV and during a church service at the Christian faithful of Kanunga Baptist Church in Mukurweini Constituency, Nyeri County, the former DP accused Kanja of withdrawing his security detail.
The former DP also blamed the IG for failing to arrest those who planned his attack while attending a funeral service in Limuru, Kiambu County.
